Help do i have battery problems?

hi everyone im new to the forums and i am so a new andriod user. i just recently got my galaxy s2 for tmobile a couple of days ago and i've been loving it so far. for the last couple of nights i have been losing a lot of battery life while i sleep. i am just wondering if this is normal. i always have full battery right before i go to sleep and when i wake up 9-10 hours later i suddenly lose 10%. i do not have any wifi or data turned on when i sleep, i even turn off all background data and everything. i dont run any apps overnight and i use a static wallpaper. i read around that some people only lose less than 5% overnight so is this normal or not? please help me fix this if it is a real problem. also could it be possible that i need to recalibrate my battery? i read it on another section of this forum. oh and i am running the most up to date version of 2.3.6. thanks for the help.

that is one of my options but the thing is that i would rather stay away from rooting for now only because im not sure if im gonna keep this phone or exchange it yet so i wanna keep it as close to stock as possible. but if i cant find anything else then i will probably root it. thanks for the link.

Another option is to stop running apps in the background. Example: settings/applications/running services. Stop each app you don’t use. You can stop apps you use and they will restart when you call on the app automatically. However if you reboot you phone you have to re-stop these apps.

Something to read they might have ideas "My samsung galaxy S2 batteries suddenly drain within hours! "

Honestly, I would not worry about 10% in 9-10 hours. I leave mine on because I use it as an alarm clock too. Everything else is off except wifi. I lose about 15% - 20% in 7 hours. When I'm at work data is turned on but I don't use the phone very much. When I plug it in the charger about 10 hours later, I've used 25% - 30% so I don't think your 10% is bad at all.

And stop sleeping so much. :D
