Root Do not select Recovery when doing a backup

So yah I got into the habit of selecting Recovery during my backup process and today as a result my recovery got botched. Or at least this is my assumption of how it got botched. A simple reflash of Amon_Ra sorted my problem, but I have a bad habit of flashing roms while away from my computer. This could have caused me some serious issues :)

Are you talking about recovery in the x's when making a nandroid? I don't keep nandroids around very long so when I go to make a nandroid, I check everything including recovery and I've never had an issue. Probably was just a fluke though

Yeah I do the same thing, check everything unless I know there is nothing on SD EXT or android.secure or whatever it's called.

well for me i only backup the first 3 and sd ext as i have my card partitioned, but that is it. never heard of backing up recovery creating any issues. it could have been just a bad nandroid backup getting corrupted.

Yep same here and I back up wimax every time also . I have 6 nandroids on my card that I constantly overite because they are roms that I constantly update to get the way I want. never had a problem.
