Well I wouldn't call me anal about scratches.

but I have one on my DX, I put it on one week after getting it.

I have never replaced it, been on 11 months so far. Seinheil Ultra clear.
 
I have a PhantomSkinz on mine. Got it within a few days of getting the phone and have replaced it once. I think I got 3, so I have one more to go before it's time to get a new phone ;)
 
They put one on in the Verizon store and it gave my screen a matted look/feel. Did not want. Pulled that sucka off soon as I got out to my car and it's been naked ever since. No scratches.

Honestly, I think screen protectors take a lot away from the experience. I have no tried one single protector on any phone that I liked. I can understand wanting to protect your investment, but eh... short of dropping onto concrete or throwing your keys at it, it's not gonna get too messed up (or am I the only one who babies my phone?).
 
The only reason I keep a protector on it is I carry my phone in my pocket with my keys. My boss has an X and it has light scratches on the screen from this. They are only visible at an angle, but still there.

If I have my wallet I carry that on one side and the keys/phone on the other. Im a front pocket wallet carrier. It just balances out that way better. If I didn't do that I wouldn't be so worried.

Ah, I see. I'm a back pocket kinda guy with my wallet.

That being said... I think if I WAS front pocket kinda guy, I'd bite the bullet rather than put my keys in with my phone. :p
 
Yeah, I rock one. Not only am I anal about scratches, but I didn't like the way the screen felt on my refurb without one.
 
Totally anal about scratches and smudges, I won't lie. Ultra Clear is so damn clear, though, it's almost like being naked. I can barely tell that it's there.
 
I use Boxwave. You can go to www.boxwave.com and get their "ClearTouch Crystal" version. The cost was $12.95

I was running a WM Imagio and actually used the Boxwave screen protector for a year, then moved it from that phone onto my DX. I ordered a new one but haven't put it on yet because the initial protector fits and works well.

My brother had a piece of garbage protector from Verizon, and he was convinced that my Boxwave protector was significantly superior.

But IMO spending 5 bucks for 5 on ebay was an awesome purchase to have a virgin screen. I just got the regular cheap screen protectors and they work great. They are completely clear and IMO way easier to swipe across then the glass screen.

DONT GET ANTI GLARE. Just get a cheap clear one and you will be really happy.

I have went through 2 in a year LOL.
 
I don't use a screen protector. I keep my X in my front pocket by itself. So far no scratches. Of course as soon as I post this I will probably get one.

well, I'm not anal about it. buy I did have to see different screen protectors installed, before I would purchase one. And this is why I got the Ultra Clear.
 
I ust the invisibleshield and love it. From my last phone I knew I would really need one. This was put on perfect by the folks at Best Buy and I really can not tell it is even on the phone. Well worth the price.
 
I have to admit , Im completely OCD about scratches anywhere on my phone. Use a Zagg screen protector and a Otter Box case from Day 1.
 
I use a Zagg screen protector, and then the belt holster for work, and then I have the Crystal Slip for my everyday needs.

I like to protect my phone, I'm a klutz.
