Ultra crystal. I've had to actually tell ppl I have a screen protector. They couldn't tell until I pointed it out

poll choices suck, i have one on but am not anal about scratches. if i were, id have replaced the protector at least 3 times by now. its pretty beat up, but i can still see well. since i work in industrial atmosphere, i make sure my stuff is covered for those unforeseen moments that usually happen. my SiL has an X also, just got it a month ago and has little scratches all over the glass already.

no screen protector, no scratches, keep in my front pocket by itself maybe with headphones every now and then. i had it in a vertex case until it had an unfortunate mishap while walking my dogs and now it smells, use your imagination. been running completely nekkid for now only because the vertex smells and it made the phone bulky.

on a side note anyone use a TPU case and how are they compared to other types?

No screen protector and no scratches what so ever. I thought the screen was gorilla glass...right?

IMO, the screen looks much better without one.

I am 100% anal about my fone. I have had a crystal clear for 11 months and an otterbox case for 6 months. Droppwd it a few times :(
I plan to order another crystal clear when I get a chance. Mine is heavilt scratched from keys and stuff :(

It is, but it doesn't mean it won't scratch.

this is very true...

just replaced this bad boy on a D2 this week

to its credit...the back side of the screen is perfectly smooth...and would you believe the screen functioned absolutely 100% normally looking like that?...

Edit: Not that a screen protector probably would have saved this poor Droid2 screen...but i posted the pic for HAHA;s

The only reason I keep a protector on it is I carry my phone in my pocket with my keys. My boss has an X and it has light scratches on the screen from this. They are only visible at an angle, but still there.
Why the ef do you do that? Why take that risk? Do you only have one pocket?

You say Droid 2, that is a Droid X, no?

Did you replace the screen yourself? Was it hard?

That's definitely a D2. DX digitizer would have not button overlay and no opening for the speaker at the top

In reference to screen protector or not...I carry mine naked in my pocket by itself. Screen looks just like new. I am overly careful with my phone though. My wife gets a kick out of making me think our 9 month old has thrown it off the counter and such
