I don't miss it at all I love the android platform better. If bb OS 6.0 is a failure as I expect it will be then it will be the beginning of the end of Rim! I think when it is released lots of former bb users wil run back to try it again but I wont be one of them.

What's a blackberry?... *glances over at my Blackberry 8830 on my desk* Oh, that thing. It's on my "Things to list on craigslist" list now. ;)

:D me too, haha. What do you think it's worth asking for? Mine's actually in really good shape, just have no idea what to list the asking price for.

I think not only will a lot of former BB owners come back, but that a lot of BB users that were considering jumping ship will stick around now that they'll have flash support with os 6.0. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to kick something when my BB could not view page after page of internet. Still think that BB is moving WAY too slow on keeping pace with smartphones, but for there niche audience, ( business, email, corporate issue) they do very well indeed.

I miss blockbreaker and texas hold'em. Alot of people like the style keyboard but I thought the buttons were way too small. Oh yeah, and the notification and battery life. Would I trade my Android to go back to RIM...Hell naw!!!!

Android FTW!!!

Just read your 'Vibrant- sounds sooo gay" in your avatar sig. LMAO- I thought so too. Why not just call it the Rainbow maker? :D

the only thing i miss is the keyboard. i've yet to find another device in which i can pound out an entire book. i earned the nickname "thunder thumbs" because of how fast i could type on it :D

but i don't miss the antiquated app store, the web browser or the horrible UI (better than a lot of smartphones but nowhere as customizable as android)

I miss the spell check....seriously...who designs a smart phone without that feature?? I also miss the LED message notification too.

People who can spell?

Depending on your phone, colored LED notifications are very much available. Mine's got a trackball that flashes white, green, red, cyan, magenta... actually it'll flash any color. With screen on or off.

I doubt it. A lot of ex-BB users seem well and tired of how RIM has been doing them up the behind for years with antiquated software and shoddy low-end hardware. It'd be like going back to an abusive relationship thinking that maybe this time you'll be beat a little less often.

I smashed my Blackberry Pearl on the sidewalk after I got my Droid X.

If I ever see that spinning hourglass again it will be too soon.

I don't miss my Blackberry, but I do miss the battery life. Then again, the battery lasted so much longer because I hardly used it. I'm using my Droid X constantly throughout the day.

with the new torch comming out 9800 you just might miss it now only draw back is that its on att others will soon follow though check it out on phonedawg.com or youtube

sprint has trade ins thats what i did with my 8330 bb 53.00 doesnt matter if it worked or not bout what i would have gotten on ebay also had a rummor, tilt and some other phone all said and done the owed me money when i picked up the evo

I just got my HTC EVO today, love it so far. The only thing I miss is BBM. But I will survive. This is a awesome phone. I have the 9650. Blackberries I also found to be so slow and lately BBM has not been working, so I think I eventually will not miss BBM. Love my HTC EVO.

I'm still waiting on my Droid but I know I will miss BBM, Poynt, email, the keyboard and a few of the apps I have came to love. I'm pretty sure though that I will be much happier with the Droid over the old out dated OS on the BB. I had one heck of a run with BB owning many of them and I am VERY impressed with the durability of the ones I have had. I'm hoping the Droid is just as tough.

BTW - Poynt is now in the Android Marketplace :). It's very laggy, though.

There are times when I miss my BB. Like most, I miss BBM. I loved the Groups function & I left a few friends behind. I also loved the notifications & collective inbox. I also liked how I could delete an email from the handset & it would remain on the server so I could look @ it online.

I'm very happy w/ my Vibrant, though. And I'd be happier if they'd fix the stinkin' gps!!!
