No, I don't like the feel or the slight blurring they add. I don't have a case or anything either, I'm just super careful about handling the phone, e.g. absolutely nothing else ever goes into the same pocket my phone is in.
I used one I got off Amazon, can't remember the type. But found it increased the amount of glare from the finger smears.
Removed it, and am just careful and always put it in my pocket with nothing hard.
Screen is still scratch free after a year
I don't use them either, I started to when I first got my phone last April, but bever liked the feel of it. I then read that the desire has gorilla glass on its face, so I decided to do without a screen protector. Never looked back, I am very careful and very happy with my Desire.
I got a cheapy one from a stall that unlocks phones outside my local Tesco.
It's ok but it seems to gather grease marks badly (Maybe I could just wash I guess) and I suspect probably makes it even harder to see in sunlight.
Haven't noticed a problem with sensitivity with it.
Might remove it actually - would probably be better off without it.
Just ripped it off.
It had been annoying me for a while tbh.
Never needed a screen protector. If it's dirty, I clean it, and I avoid putting it in a pocket with coins or keys. 10 months heavy use every day and screen still looks new.
i have always used one for the whole 6 months i had my phone but i removed it last week cos it scratches and looks horrible, plus it never was fitted perfectly (cos i cant do it lol) - its much nicer without and if you are careful (which i am) then the screen will be fine
I use my wifes old Samsung U900 Soul ones as we had a few left over and they fit the usable bit of the screen perfectly and it already had scratches on it from the previous owner so I wanted to save it from any more
Never used one. They do the job but I can't stand the look and feel of them. 7 month so far and not a single mark (knock on the material of your choice).
Ebay cheapies on mine 99p for 3. Yes reduces sensitivity slightly but only notice when you first put it on. Soon forget it's on there especially as I'm now an expert on putting them on.
Can I ask why you use a screen protector? The Desire glass is not the same as the covering found on most non-smartphones and you don't get scratching and scuffing. The screen protector material is actually far more likely to get scuffed than the screen it's protecting. The only real risk to the screen is damage caused by dropping it, hitting it with something, and putting it in your pocket with a set of keys - all of which would damage the screen whether or not there's a screen protector fitted.
