I don't even understand how this app can be useful. I just wanna be able to organize 100's of apps, and be able to quickly access and launch them.

What are you specifically trying to organize and what are you wanting to do to help you launch apps aside from launching them from the app tray?

Well, I guess I want my apps organized into folders I can keep as shortcuts on my homescreen, such as a few games folders, tools folders, media folders. I want to be able to organize my music like you can with iTunes on a laptop. I don't like google music because it slows everything down. I want to be able to make folders of playlists, and continuous play like on itunes. Likewise with my pics and videos. My "gallery" of pics can't be rearranged, can't move pics from one album to another, etc. Stuff like that. and I don't see much instruction for any app or anything anywhere...

Apps into folders on your homescreens will be easy for you. Lets say you have Angry Birds, and a few other games. All you would need to do to create a folder of games, is to drag one app shortcut onto another, and it'll automatically create a folder with them both in it. Just keep "dropping" apps onto that pile of icons, and it'll put it into that folder for you.

As for the music and gallery concerns, those are probably going to be best tailored to your needs with other apps instead of using the stock ones. I know there are other gallery apps (One was like, Quik Pic or something), but you'll find a bunch in the market, that will let you arrange your photo folders, hide them, etc.

There are also a LOT of music player apps. It'll likely be more trial-and-error to find one that works in the manner you wish, but I'm sure you'll find one that works. (I use the stock stuff, since I rarely listen to music that isn't streamed from Pandora).

As for Astro, I do have it, just in case. Usually I only use it to find a certain file name, or if I forgot where I put something .

Pandora or any other streaming app slows things down, right? That's what Google music seems to do, which is another issue. I'm gonna look into gallery apps (thanks). I want to try poweramp, hoping that I won't have to stream, slowing down the net. I only have 3G for now

I stream Pandora all day every day, I never noticed it "slowing things down" ...

Even 3G has enough bandwidth to stream and surf the web/check FB/etc just fine (unless your in a bad signal area or a area where the network is overloaded).

I haven't noticed any slowdowns on Pandora myself, either. I haven't really used Google Music (takes WAY too damn long to upload my library to the cloud), so I can't really speak to how well IT streams, but with any of the others, like Pandora, Tune In, iHeartRadio, I haven't had any issues with excessive buffering when surfing the net, or pages loading way too slow.

Thanks for this tip.

I've been using Astro but this allows me to see my files on my FTP server and delete my ftp client Andftp, which wasn't working anyway!

ES file explorer is free and also has root access.
It has LAN access, an add-on for a task manager, apk backups, BT transfer, etc.
