Doctor Who

I've been watching since Jon Pertwee ... I may BE a time lord ;)

I'm liking Whittaker as the new doctor. She seems to have the right stuff for the Doctor. (Watch it three times yesterday .... and even the Mrs. likes her.)

I did watch a few episodes with Peter Capaldi as Dr.Who. during seasons 8 and 9. I intend to bounce around watching stuff.

Martha was between Rose and Amy, correct? I still have a hard time wrapping my head around Amy Pond = Nebula (Guardians of the Galaxy)

Martha was between Rose and Donna, Amy came after that, then Clara, then Bill, and now Yaz+Ryan+Graham (should I worry that I remembered all of that?).

Amy was wearing a wig in her final Who appearance, because Karen had shaved her head for her first Guardians gig...

new Dr will be female???
Not will be, is - the first episode was broadcast last weekend in the UK.

Mind you, they've been flagging this possibility up for some time: it's probably 6 years or so since the first throw-away reference to a Time Lord's gender not being fixed was made that I can remember, but a female incarnation of The Master throughout Peter Capaldi's term put that idea front and centre. I think they decided a long time ago that this might happen.

A Yorkshire Doctor though, that is noteworthy ;)

trying to remember back to the last season... last episode...
did Dr Who die? cant remember... must be getting old

Spiders creep me out almost as much as clowns. If they ever came up with a clown spider, I'd be done for.

So I was thinking about the portrayal of the American Corporate Mogul in the Christopher Noth character. While I get the the caricature of the evil, greedy, unfeeling, selfish, power-hungry a-hole, to juxtapose him with a group of tolerant, diverse, compassionate and open-minded Brits is a bit disingenuous, don't you think? I mean, we might have trumped brexit, but you started it. ;)
