Does Androidforums and tapatalk no longer work?

I have been trying to log in and use my tapatalk app for the forums and it is no longer working

it says it has been deactivated?

Anyone else experience this?

when was this and like what happened exactly?

Am i stuck using the browser or is there another similar app?

Me too. This is the only forum I frequent. Ah well.. It was only $3. Might be able to find another use for it.

Do the browser and androidforums play nicely together?
 
Haven't really tried it with the browser before. I know that the Android Central forums work on it, but they just aren't and good...
 
I prefer Opera Mini to Tapatalk, myself. It's just as fast, and you get the full browser experience. Haven't actually done any posting or logging in on Opera though, so Tapatalk might handle that better.

I do know the stock browser is very sluggish with forums, especially off of wifi.
 
Just tried poking around the forums on the stock browser on my Droid X last night and it wasn't too bad. Having the app made it easier though. Hopefully they deliver an app by the end of August
 
I will be downloading opera and giving it a try

i think what i heard about opera is it pinch zoom is a little buggy
 
I've been using the stock browser with favorites added and it makes navigation so much quicker but oh how I miss tapatalk.
 
Yeah, no Tapatalk for us! -_-

I dunno about you guys, but I really want the browser to be faster. Lack of Tapatalk made me go back to looking at this site via PC.
 
Stock browser for me, opera was ok, a little quicker, but the navigation in the forums was choppy. I haven't tried it, but I bet dolphin or one of the other browsers might be better at that.. but I've been trying to figure out all day how to upload a picture onto a post on here directly from my Droid. It used to be simple with tapatalk but now I'm I have no clue how to do it..
 
If you want, you can try the mobile version of this site. Its very barebones and simple, so there are no images, but it is really fast, even over 2G.

In the very bottom left hand corner of this site, there is a drop down box. Select AF Mobile. Give that a try. I personally like it on my Eris, since its not the fastest phone ever.
 
Luckily, it isn't the only forum that I use it for.

However, I think I'll alter the admins over at one of the other forums I frequent about what was found here and see what they have to say about it.

If this is found to be a vulnerability that was specifically create in the plugin *by the developers knowingly* then I say we immediately file for a class action lawsuit against the dev....

Couldn't find where I could access my subscribed threads on the mobile site
 
actually i cant either but the browser works fine for me without using mobile

then agan i wondered wny you guys said it was kind of a bad experience using the browser but it works fine for me and i realized something

Aw, way to rub it in. :(

I am glad to know that it is pretty good on the X-rated. (I'm not hating, the nickname for the Sprint EVO was "the Emo" amongst my friends so we named the Droid X, the Droid X-rated or the Droid XXX. Yeah, I know we need a hobby.)

Do you use Facebook, is it a better experience than stabbing yourself in the face repeatedly like it is on the Droid? Perhaps I wouldn't lament the loss of Tapatalk so much if the browser was as fast.
