Does Anyobdy Know What Time It Is

My last test: I deleted everything utility or time related that had been installed over a year, but time stopped again. So, unless I have or someone provides an epiphany, my clock widget has been retired. Thanks to all who tried to help...

Dear Diary,

Today I had that digital clock and my recent analog clock running side by side. And sure enough, the digital eventually froze, while the analog kept turning.

So how am I supposed to take my Android seriously?

I think it started about three months ago, on mine at least. A lot of threads I googled talked about it being because of the 4.something OS release, but I’m stuck at 2.3.6, so it’s not that.

Anyway, not being able to rely on a digital clock, I had to scrap it and go back to a little analog.

I just set up the widget again "beautiful widgets" and the time is fine now. I must have had it set up in wrong time zone before allowing for winter time or whatever :)

That sucker’s too big for my memory space; what I have remaining, that is. I’ve given up and just use my reliable analog.

Takes me like 20secs to read an analogue lol. What apps u usin man??? Cba readin those links btw... least am honest :D:D

Yes, I can read an analog, that’s all we had way back when. In fact, they weren’t even called analogs then, they were called clocks. I’m just peeved that I have this newfangled digital that can’t keep up. I mean, they sent a man to the moon...

I did one thing and my digital clock widget has worked for three days:

I turned Shake to Shuffle off, which removed it from Running Services. The clock worked for a day. I turned it back on. The clock has continued to work ever since.

Is it possible that the clock freezing was just because I activated the shuffler before I activated the clock, and once I changed that order, it solved the problem? Anyway, the clock has worked for three days now and that’s the only possible reason I can deduct.
