Does anyone else think it's strange...

...that there's no mobile version of this website? I'm not one to bitch, and do think its a great forum, but given that they chose to dump Tapatalk, it seems crazy that they don't find some way to make it less clunky to navigate from a smartphone. (Particularly since the whole flippin' site is about a mobile OS!) I almost never log in from my DX because the experience is subpar compared to other sites I frequent.

Just sayin'....
 
Tapatalk had security issues that compromised aspects of this site. The management of this site made the conscious decision to drop support of Tapatalk for this reason. They have a programmer working on a new app for use in conjunction with site. It'll likely be a while before the new app is released... but it will be released.

Till then there's little any of us can do but to be patient...
 
Never had a problem with the site from my DX. With the scren size of the DX, I don't find a need for mobile sites.

It's not that it's unusable, it's just clunky. Always resizing pages, turning from portrait to landscape, losing site of the text I'm typing because the keyboard covers up the reply window, etc., etc. A good mobile site is either optimized for mobile browsers or uses an app like tapatalk to smooth out the experience. All I'm saying is that "it would be nice."
 
The only time this site is a pain to navigate from my X is with threads that are heavy with pictures like the screens thread.
 
See that little drop-down box in the lower left corner? Change that to "AF mobile"... Viola, mobile site.
