Root Does anyone have the stock Evo Rom that is flashed though bootloader

Scotty, would I read that right if I think he is now unrooted, s-on and on the stock rom software version 5.07.651.1.?
If so, and if he unrooted via the guide that Ocn linked, he wouldn't be on that version would he? Not to mention on that baseband.
Am I missing something or reading something wrong?

2.18, s-on and shipped status.

I'm saying that's fully unrooted

ok so not sure how, but yes the phone is now fully unrooted. so the only way to try the usb/sd card fix would be to unlock the phone, install recovery, flash the su file and the try the usb fix. however, the sd card fix should work even though the phone is not rooted any more.

not sure why, op, you unrooted. but with the phone rooted, there are more ways to troubleshoot.....at least try the sd card fix

So the Facebook app says that a cable is connected to my computer and when I unplug it I will be able to see all of my pictures. How ever there isn't a cable plugged in. Im guessing mu phone is stuck in some kind of usb to pc thing?

The problem is how am i supposed to root it if my SD card won't mount?
well the sd card fix does not have to be rooted. the usb fix will need root. plus unlocking the phone will not require a sd card. and you can always get a sd card reader or sd card adapter to insert into the pc to transfer files, if need be.

hmmmmm that is weird. i think if you root the phone and we get a custom recovery and once we use the usb and sd card fix then we can easily fix the facebook issue.....or you can try a factory reset now if you want. it should fix the issue.

SD card is fixed... I'll will re root it this weekend sometime. To clear things up here is what I did.. I used an s on image that I flashed through the bootloader. Please excuse the term flashing I am using if it is in correct but I am sure you get the jist. Then I flashed the factory operating system through bootloader and updated it to the newest software, firmware, prl, etc. Then noticed that the SD card and charger port weren't working properly which is why I couldn't get a recovery to work properly. Today, I did the SD card fix that someone posted above. I would like to thank everyone who contributed it was bery helpful!

Anyone have any suggested methods? Bear in mind that i cant use any phone to computer cable once the phone has totally booted. I am able to use it in fast boot only but not as a disk drive

once youve rerooted, and fixed the usb cable issue, the evo is an easy phone to downgrade to a build where you can run unrevoked. so once youre to that point,we can help you achieve that, and then do NOT turn s back to on,for any reason ;)
