Root Does anything like this exist for the Desire?

I was having my daily browse of android central last night and came across this rather cool rom review.

Seemingly, it builds every aspect of the ROM in something like a UOT kitchen, allowing you to customise everything from the base rom to the boot animation. Then it packs it all up into a nice zip.rom to flash and apparently they are all super stable.

I think this is a really great concept and wondered if such a thing was available for the Desire, as that version is just for the galaxy s?

I can't say I've ever seen one that will cook everything from the ground up. There's the uot kitchen but that's themes and mods only I think.

Anyway, that takes all the fun out of it, if you do it all at once

Yes hunting round for different themes, mods and apps to do what you want is part of the Android experience

Probably not. Only cooks sense roms. Its a bit like the modaco online kitchen. You add and remove elements to create your own rooted stock. Not exciting Im afraid.
