well yes and no lol its 99.9% no becasue i mean it isnt a significant like running apps but .1% no since its is part of the animations and the animations due drain battery but trust me it isnt significant and you cant even notice because it really doesnt drain the battery faster having CRT enabled. its just another animation

Yes, TECHNICALLY it drains more battery than normal since it takes more to do the animation vs just shutting the screen off. But if you calculated it up, it would be like a 0.000001 percent increase in drain. So in reality, no, it doesnt drain your battery more
