Help Does Launcher Pro help battery/memory or remove BLUR?

I don't use a SINGLE Motorola widget. Should I start using Launcher Pro? Would this prevent BLUR apps like social networking and such from launching? What is the advantage of Launcher Pro outside of the aesthetics and perhaps ease of use compared to the out of the box DX?

Just use launcher pro... it will make your DX about 50 times better than stock blur crap.

Will actually use more memory because you will have both launchers running at the same time...it also wont stop anything from starting up in the background...it will make your screen transitions much smoother though

I like the widgets and scrollable dock. Just use Launcher Pro Plus for awhile and you'll see why it is superior. It's hard to explain until you use it.

Your mileage may vary. Just try it, it's free (the non-plus version)! Be sure to install home switcher and remove all widgets from your home blur home screens.

I never even thought of that. I use ADW and it's been sluggish since the GB update. I just removed EVERYTHING from the blur Home screens and my DX seems snappier. Thanks!
