does N7 come with stock screen protector?

OP that's a brilliant idea thought company s should seriously run with this. That would be a huge huge value add item for next to nothing for 99% of company's.

even my 3-4 year old Samsung Galaxy S phone came with a protector over the front, why shouldn't tablets?

true.. Corning/Gorilla Glass is scratch-resistant, but it is not scratch-proof.. thus, the reason for screen protectors ;)

Yeah, it does come with plastic over the screen to protect it whilst in the box, if that's what you mean.

However, it is very large and wraps around the entire device. It isn't like your typical phone where it just sits neatly over just the screen. It wouldn't be practical to leave it on.
