Does no one here use Google Voice?

After reading all the various problems with voicemail and text problems... i just wanted to know, does anyone here use Google Voice?

I have used GV on all my phones over the past 2 years... never used the stock text or voicemail a single time... i.e. never have any problems.

I'm planning on picking up the Evo at Target later today... hopefully it's a good one.

How is the sound quality on the calls through GV? Do you notice you don't get all the rings before it goes the GV voicemail? When I tested this out it seemed like it took a couple rings to reach my phone so I'd only hear 2 rings.

I've never had any issues with it... right now I have it forwarding to my Droid X and a MagicJack. Sound quality is normal and rings are normal. You might of had a setting in the GV control panel set wrong.

I want to say that I've had zero problems with it, though my gut tells me that I've had very sporadic times where I've had a message but no missed call - even though the phone's been on and connected.

That said I cannot see anything that would make me not want to use it. The benefits so outweigh any perceived issues I may have and so it's a total no-brainer for me. Google Voice all the way.

(Google and FB already know more about me than my OB-GYN so what's a little more info between me and our data overlords?)

I'm on the 300 minute plan and use Google Voice with GrooveIP. Sometimes the voice quality is sketchy, that's why for important calls I use up some of my precious minutes.

This is my plan... just picked up the V and am waiting for it to charge so I can get this thing rolling.

I live off of GV. I have it set up to ring 3 different mobiles (One of being my EVO), and I use it for my job. If I forget one of my cell phones, doesn't matter because one of them will always ring.
