Help Does the Thunderbolt not have "deep sleep"?

Heavy use means frequent web browsing, video playing, music streaming and phone calls over the course of a day. Try that and you won't come close to making it through a day.

Did I say heavy use? No I did not. But that was with a lot of texts and tapatalk surfing forums. Few phone calls. So it was average use. Don't hate on me that I can get good battery life out of my phone. Maybe instead of hating you instead do like I do mess with the roms and kernels. Over clocking underclocking. Try undervolting your phone. Don't come on here and call me a liar because you are not here with me to see how I use my phone.


Heck my Droid incredible on a full charge not activated on the Verizon network just sitting idle would last over 8 days. Again I must be lying as its an android phone and they all have bad battery life.
 
The battery life on the Thunderbolt stinks unless you go with the 2750 mAh extended battery.

Wow what's your backing for that? How about say your thunderbolt has bad battery life.

The thunderbolt has no worse battery life than any other android phone made. Its up to the end user to figure out hoe to make the battery life better.

I was getting about 8 hours of moderate use when I first got my Thunderbolt.
After getting the Rezound battery, I can easily get 12 hours of use.
I wonder if it's a better built battery, because it doesn't drain as fast as the one that came with my Thunderbolt.
I can get 16-20 hours easily if I use custom settings in the MyProfile app I got from the Market. I use it to turn off web data when I'm in poor reception areas while at work. Especially if I'm not using the phone at the time.
 
I rooted my Tbolt, and went with the Rezound battery, and barely get 7 hrs out of the phone. I refuse to handicap the phone an turn off stuff, or lightly use the phone for the sake of the battery. I talk on average of about 5hrs per day, with alot of foursquare check ins. About 7 hrs is all i can get out of the phone. Currently im running thundersheds latest rom with latest AOSP kernal by imoseyon. Im in a good area for 4G reception so my phone don't struggle to get signal. Ive just came to accept the fact that this phone was under powered from the get go, so i have to help it along by charging when ever i can if needed. But for me, i don't see $20 worth of difference in the two batteries to warrent getting the rezound, except for the cool red color LOL.
