Does this phone have a locked Bootloader?

Also is this a hack friendly phone with powerful Kernals and Roms and Recovery systems.

How hard is it to root this phone? scale 1 to 10

I have the Lg Ally but is time to upgrade. Just trying to decide which phone to go to. Thanks for all of your help guys

Yes, lots of very good ROMs can be found here or in XDA forums.

How hard is it to root this phone? scale 1 to 10

1 being easy and 10 being hard I give it a 5. I give it a 5 because if you are 2.3.4 you need to downgrade to 2.3.3 before rooting. Both the downgrade and root methods are in the stickies in this thread.

I moved from an ally to a Dinc2. Couldn't be happier.

Getitnowmarketing aka drellisdee has a kernel floating around too.

There is a custom drellisdee kernel in HD RLS 1.
