Root Does using other applications while starting up affect the GPS?

Well I was curious if you are already running Pandora and you dont want to stop it to start the GPS and you begin using the GPS while Pandora is running.... Will that make finding the satelites Exponetially slower?

Any thoughts......

Shouldnt by much, maybe a second or two - The phone requests info from a server then its pure GPS from there.
