Does your Hero home screen tilt when held to the side?

Hey,

When you are on the home screen and you tilt the phone sideways does your home screen tilt and go to a landscape view?

I don't think it ever used to do this but all of a sudden it does??
 
Yea it's the screen orientation mode, you can turn it off if you want, by pressing menu on the main screen > settings > personalize > sounds & display > orientation
 
We are talking here about the HOME screen, which is not supposed to rotate when the phone is tilted, the (wrong) menu hierarchy you suggest is just the general phone rotation option that works in some places, e.g. in email, but the HOME screen is not supposed to rotate.

Also, no mine doesn't rotate so the person who's finding it's rotating has found sommat odd! Can you think what you changed when it started happening?

Rooted phones can have any screen rotate ... including HOME screens

And some Themes "home Replacement apps can also rotated the Home screens.
 
You'd hope the OP would have noticed that prior to the home screen rotating he'd rooted his phone ;-)
 
I don't even know what "rooting" a phone is to be honest, I haven't done anything to it, I just opened a game and closed it and then the home screen tilted.
 
I want mine to do it too.
I can't manage to rotate to landscape in many(most) programs.
Is there a way to make it more responsive?
