Help Doird x activation? help

My friend reported his droid x as lost/stolen and a couple days later he fount it.
and he gave it to me. am i able to activate the phone for my number since he reported it as lost/stolen?

not until he clears it with verizon

no, the reason is that vzw has no way of knowing that you didn't steal the phone. have your friend call vzw and have them clear the phone's esn.
