I think it sounds better without dolby on cause all it sounds like to me is ll ike a virtualizer it gives it like an echo and it makes my music sound horrible... i dont know maybe im doing something wrong but i dont see how

I tried all of the settings i would prefer for the bass boost setting to work... I mean i do use the equalizer app as well do u think that could have an impact on it? I only use the bass boost and equalizer setting on that. I leave the reverb and virtualizer off because they pretty much give the same effect that i get from the dolby

An equalizer does have an effect when also using Dolby. Must remember different music, different equalizers, different earbuds, all make a difference to the sounds you hear. A combination of those can make a drastic change on what you hear. And it varies from song to song.

In general, the Dolby feature on the stock music player with the optional settings, is quite nice. Opens up the soundstage quite alot. Also the same with the stock video player.

The music player with dolby can also be enhanced further with an EQ. But again with using an EQ, the sounds you here can vary greatly from track to track. Try it with a few different songs, and try to find a balance between all types of music. Also earphones make a huge difference. Try using scullcandy ink's or preferably something better for really great sound.
