Dolphin browser

Now that I have a phone with enough memory to install lots of apps, I have several launchers and browsers installed. The Colbert Report crashes xScope. The stock browser almost works. Dolphin plays full episodes. I'm going to have to use Dolphin some more. I had to turn off the gestures.

Dolphin mini is my fave browser since getting this phone. I turn the gestures of too. It is better than stock opening and closing tabs. I find hd uses a ton of battery power.
I also like the pop up mini gives that shows the file name you are about to download and gives you the option to edit it.
Where are the updates for mini, seems like they don't get them regular.
Love it, though!!! ;)

I keep flipping between xScope and Dolphin HD. xScope does downloads well. If something doesn't work in one it often works in the other.

I have been with the stock browser (on sense and MIUI ROMs) since getting the DInc2. When I was on the Eris, Dolphin was my favorite. It seemed to be the lightest on resources (must've been mini) and I still use it on a few of the ROMs I run. I have tried it since, but I never could get used to the bookmarks setup. I like the stock one for that...

Unfortunately the stock browser asks which browser you want to use many times if you don't have it set as the default browser. Makes it unusable if you use other browsers too. No other browser does that. xScope has instant back which I really like but it has issues that often require a reboot to fix. If Dolphin had the instant back it would be my daily driver.

I finally set the stock browser as the default to give it a chance. It works great but it doesn't have an option to keep the notification bar visible. Durn! Back to xScope for general browsing and Dolphin for video.

Yup. I've been using xScope so long that I don't like the stock browser. I am trying to expand my horizons. I have Opera and Firefox installed too.

What do you think of the Firefox browser? I remember hoping for a Chrome browser a while back, but even Chorme on my PC is starting to blow chunks. Plugins crash constantly, uses tons of memory, blah blah.
I thought I heard Firefox had a browser for us. Exciting?

I like Dophin HD Browser with the "Screen Cut" add-on which allows me to capture regional or the whole screen and save it s a jpeg, etc.

Both Firefox and Opera open in overview mode with no option to turn it off. Fail.

I didn't know Dolphin had add-ons. I'll have to look into those.

I like xScope and Dolphin because they make it really easy to open a new tab to search for an answer to a question here and copy/paste the URL.

OMG! xScope has an update. I thought it had been abandoned.

* The Colbert Report is no longer available on mobile except through iTunes. I couldn't find iTunes for Android. :( Skyfire to the rescue.
