Donations and Widgets

Guys,

Just a couple of quick questions if possible.

Homescreen Widgets
In every Battery Saving Article it states that removing widgets saves juice. Obviously to me it is talking about Widgets such as News, Facebook etc but do Widgets such as Clock Widgets, Power Amp and Animated Widgets Pro drain? basically ones that do not refresh......I ask you this because my four Homescreens have nothing but Widgets now but none of them update unless I open them (- clock).........logic tells me no, but logic persuaded me to go out with my ex grilfriend, and she is now at the bottom of a river so there is no trust there anymore.

Donations
Basically I would like to donate to Salesale for his Neat Rom but I dont want to appear like a right tight arse by the amount I give him. Yes things are tight at home but I appreciate the work he does. If I had more money then I would happily part with

I think you only have to be careful how much you donate as companies like Paypal charge the receiver if it is only a quid, but to be honest I'm sure 2 quid would be gratefully received.

all the small donations soon add up.

I dont want my donation to appear disrespectful

I appreciate your thoughtfulness Calvo, but I wouldn't be concerned. I'm pretty sure that any donation would be accepted gratefully; devs know that anyone bothering to donate does so out of gratitude and respect, regardless of the amount.

You'd be surprised what some widgets and apps use. Download something like SystemPanel. It has a history feature that shows how much CPU apps and widgets use .
