Tightwads can set profiles in CWM recovery under kernel specific options

This is the same Hawker who has convinced his small children that the mobile Ice Cream van only plays its tune to let people know when it's empty!
Personally have found the extreme battery profile not that well tolerated on my phone, gives me some stutter on scrolling.
Syd, you really are the Johna of the kernel world. You've put the K.O.D; (Kiss Of Death), on this one! :ahhhhh:
The extreme_battery profile is slick and smooth for me. Try a different governor and/or scheduler to see if that helps. Maybe, ondemand and sio and set the Screen off to Conservative.
I can't say what the difference between the extreme_battery and battery profiles are as I haven't needed to shift off the former.
How do you guys measure the battery drop (0.25 % per hour etc)?? Is there an app for this?
I installed the NELP4 modem on my S2. Today my battery is at 69% after 6 hours and 30 minutes and the Battery Usage shows that Mobile Standby has used up 13% of the battery. Does this mean that this modem is a battery hog? because the time without signal is 0%.... Should I flash a different modem?
I wish Ironass would write a guide for dummies on how to interpret BBS and how to use it to improve battery life... Until such time as he does that though, do you have any pointers for me???
