double notes...=/

so after downloading handcent i get double notes when i get a message. how do I turn that off? the guy at the verizon store did it when i first got the phone but i just did a factory reset and now i needa do it my self

You mean double notifications? If so, open the stock messenger app, hit menu->settings->notifications and uncheck the box next to that.

You have to go into the native message app settings and turn off or uncheck all notifications for it.
