Root Downgrading from 2.3.4 and rooting on a Mac?

Does anyone know how to downgrade and root using a Mac? I've seen all the guides but they all use Windows programs to downgrade and root. Am I SOL until I find someone who will let me use their computer or is there a method to do it on a mac?

Thanks

You might not need to go through all that now, downgrading and what not.
HTC has added the Dinc2 as an unlockable bootloader supported with the hTC super tool at hTC Dev .com I think just recently.

Try this here at...

http://htcdev.com/bootloader/

I don't know of this has Mac support but it just might.

Hey. I was in the same boat with you and searched everywhere for root support on Mac. It doesn't exist. After rooting my phone months ago, I can't recall the technical reasons why it doesn't work on Mac, but I believe it's related to the proprietary issues and technical programming idiosyncrasies that prevent Mac from getting support through certain programs. I assume you've experienced this issue before when searching for other apps for Mac. The only answer I could come up with is to use Bootcamp or VMWare or... (see user response above) or find someone with a Windows computer (*cough* I hesitate to type the word) that you can borrow for 30 minutes.
