Downgrading HTC Browser?

I've found that the stock HTC sense ui browser is the best for my needs. However, it crashes every time I launch it (ever since I got 2.1 OTA).

Is it possible to download and revert back to an older version of the browser? Please, no alternative browser suggestions. Thanks.

What about clearing cache or data for the Browser in the Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications?

Can't hurt, especially if that puppy is crashing...

True, but I don't feel like having to keep doing that every time though. The browser shouldn't be crashing if the cache is full.
