Help "download unsuccessful"

I've tried downloading multiple different apps today and every time, the download almost immediately fails and says "download unsuccessful"

Any help?
 
I just got this just now with two apps. One went through on the second try, the other still wont go, keeps giving me the same error.

my app that wont install is and update for textplus, wonder if its the same as on that ur having problems with.
 
I just got that message. I rebooting my phone and it worked. Hope it helps!
 
Did a factory reset today to try out that NEW BATTERY FIX (surprisingly its working well) and now I cant get Handcent back :(


EDIT: Pulled the battery instead of powering down, fixed it for me

EDIT: God d@mnit, so it worked for one app, not the other (i now have all the font packs for handcent but not the actual program...awesome)
 
i feel like i've tried everything. and it's not just for one specific app. i've tried many different kinds and all of them immediately say "download unsuccessful"

:(
 
I just downloaded a few others, Handcent is not working for me and is pissing me off.

Off topic, saw Bump in the market. Did you guys know its works across OS? As in Droid to iPhone to Droid to iPad...thats kinda cool
 
Been getting this message on several updates this evening. Some work when you re-try them and some work first time, but out of 16 updates I am left with 4 which for which this message is occurring every time.

Re-boot of phone does NOT help.

Yesterday I had the other download problem whereby after changing my email address to the gmail suffix downloads would not progress beyond "Download starting". After changing back to googlemail suffix they started downloading. Did other people who are now having this problem, have the same issue with gmail/googlemail???
 
WTF me too?

happend right after I rooted to so I was freaking out that I broke something. Who else is having problems?

DO NOT WIPE YOUR PHONE!!! Word is this does not help and just sets you back to square 1 with zero apps and no way to download more.
