Downloaded new AT&T update phone is now not right

Anyone download the new AT&T android update and having problems? It is like my keyboard is unresponsive now and I can't even swipe up or down to scroll the screen. My phone is pretty much a POS right now. Any advice? I keep getting yellow boxes around everything.

Was it a complete firmware update?

If so, it's always advised to factory reset after a large update to clear out the kinks.

Can you post a screenshot of the boxes? Do you have Developer Options turned on?
To fix the lag, try turning phone off then hold in Power, Home and volume UP until you get the samsung screen. Once in recovery mode use the volume keys to navigate to "wipe cache partition", tap Home then reboot (no risk)

Found out what it was. It was the TalkBack service being on. With TalkBalk on everything turned to double tap and I had no idea. So that is why nothing was responding to a swipe or pinch. Turned TalkBack off and everything is back to normal.
