Help Downloading from the Web?

Newbie
Still a newbie here.
I love my 1-2-3 solitare program I have on my computer. the one on my A
pp isn't what I want.
Can I download the program from my computer or the web site into my phone. If so, how?
Thanks
Helen

when clicking download on the market website it sends a signal to your linked device if you have your gmail linked up to your phone and the same account is logged into both it will tell your phone to automatically start the download

Correct. I frequently install apps from my laptop twenty feet from my phone. There's a login link in the upper right corner, once logged in clicking install will automatically send the app to the phone. It won't light up, or make any sound, but when you unlock the phone you'll see the install notifications in the status bar. You can verify what phone you're sending the app to by looking for your phone model number listed in a green box in the left-hand column about halfway down.

Ditto, ditto

I have both my Optimus V and Android Tablet signed up for the same account, I just browse on my PC for what I want in the market, and they let me chose which device to send it too.

Even though the tablet uses WiFi from the OV, it knows where to send it.

only goof or glitch I have found is when I did a cancel/refund on Dragon's Lair on my tablet, I got a refund and an uninstalled notice. Yet the game is still on my tablet

Good to know!

I created separate accounts for all my Android devices without giving it a second thought

Im sure there is a way to snag the paid apk file but don't ask me

MyAppsList
No, I wasn’t thinking about anything like that, just wondering if you perhaps got paid apps automatically on all devices if they used the same account.

E.g., your apps list shows that you have the $1.26 version of Fruit Ninja on both your phone and your tablet. Did you pay once or twice for it?

Also, how did you generate the apps list?

why doesnt my phone receive and let me install apps that i downloaded from my comp. (apk files) sometimes it transfers and sometimes not. then i have a hard time finding the file. i try to do just one APPS ANDROID FOLDER AND LOAD IT WITH THE APPS I WANT AND SEND THEM IN ONE SHOT. can someone give me a clue to hoe to make this work, or is there an easier way to do this. phone is rooted. thanks.

Go to settings/applications, make sure the "Unknown sources" box is checked. You have to download them from a website from your browser ( Dolphin Browser works best for this) on your phone. You could try and install "Fast uninstall & Installer" onto your phone. Then put the SD card on your PC and transfer the .apk's to that folder and use it to install them once you put the SD card back into the phone. Don't know if it will work, but it should in theory.
