Help Drivers Install every reboot

Fuzzy13

Extreme Android User
My first official post in the Nexus forums since joining the "Nexus" users a few days ago. :D

My issue-

All drivers are installed just fine on my PC but every time I reboot my computer they reinstall. I also have to make exceptions in my firewalls each time on boot up. It's not a big deal but I dont see why the drivers install every single time if they are already installed.

What can I do to remedy this problem?

If this helps at all

Nexus w/AOKP Rom. Not much done to the phone. I'm a fairly simple user and do more development than anything else.

Acer Aspire PC Vista Home Premium SP2 32bit 4GB Ram AMD athalon processor LE-1640 2.7GHz

Thanks in advance for anyone that can lend me a helping hand :D

I think you are going to have a problem finding a Vista user with knowledge about this. Most are on XP or 7 and this issue does not come up.

Vista is a little hard on unsigned drivers. I'm not sure what the best workaround would be if that's the case.

Well after several days it has finally stopped. I was thinking it might have something to do with a certain "service" that I might have turned off being that I've gone in and tweaked the services to my liking and modded some other things as well. I guess it just had to get settled in. Regardless, so far so good.

Thanks for the input fellas. ;)
