Help Droid 2 Unlock Screen

I noticed the Droid 2 unlock screen if one of the only things that's different between the DX and D2 interface... besides 2.2 of course.

Anyone know how to port this unlock screen to the DX?

Its supposedly coming out around the end of summer, check various posts, its discussed alot around here.

I was referring to just the lock screen.

I know 2.2 is on its way... but I am impatient.

I want that unlock screen now!

There may be an app that does it. I forgot the name though, if anyone can fill us in that would be appreciated.

It's called Widget Locker I believe. Its main purpose is to place widgets on the lockscreen, but through it you can customize the lockscreen itself to look like HTC's Sense, an iDevice lock, etc.

Ahh that is pretty cool, have you downloaded the droid 2 live wallpaper, that one blows away the one on the X. The apk is on the xda website

btw. driod life has the live/non live droid 2 wallpaper. you might wanna try your luck there.

With Widget locker you can get that lock screen replicated almost perfectly if you can find that background online.

I know that. I didn't say he wanted the HTC or iPhone lock screen. I was giving examples of what the program is capable of and answering the question of the user who posted above me.

quite easy to port if there's a D2 system dump available.

But you will need to be rooted to install it.

" example of what the program is capable of" it dosent do anything, unless you have the file. then if you have the file you dont need the widget locker program. this post is too answer the OP ?. get the file, it will come out. put it on SDcard.. when you find the file let the rest of us in on it>>> but +1 Paycer for another unhelpful post..
