Droid Bionic ARena

lol thats how I've been doing it (with Street View).

I grabbed my wifes Android Phone and the App works great on it (LG Vortex, nothing special) but I felt like a douche driving around my neighborhood at midnight.

Now I just do it on the computer. Much Faster & Easier :P

Press and hold the up key for forward, down key for reverse, and press left and right to turn left and right. Anyone who has ever played a racing sim / racing game using only a KB will be right at home with this.

It may be different depending upon Internet connection speed, machine build, free RAM, etc....

My beast has me finishing puzzles in about 1.5 minutes max.

start on a beginning of a bridge.. all you have to do is go straight. LOL

I start in my neighborhood - it's got all kinds of twists and turns, but I play racing sims in my sleep, so....

Type it in Notepad or something similar, copy it, then use ctrl V to paste it in.

Someone else said you can use a capital letter and it will still send it. I just copy/paste it to be on the safe side.

IE doesnt have the typing letters problem...but is dog slow on my PC. Firefox and Opera keep freezing when its time to search for the prizes.

Chrome has the typing bug....but is nice n fast.

Good luck to everybody! Winners won't be announced until the 9th I believe and most of us will have the phone by then, but hey, an extra won't hurt, right? :)

Write me down for the HDTV + the phone ;)

Who are we kidding? None of us will probably win, it'll be some joe blows that don't even visit any forums and have no idea, haha.

Running Firefox Nightly 9.0a1 x64 ( Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:9.0a1) Gecko/20110905 Firefox/9.0a1) and it's not only superfast, but no bugs thus far. Works perfectly fine.

I'm still going to try every now and again...

^I forgot...Firefox does have an update I keep skipping cuz its not compatible with some software I use on a regular basis. Oh well...lol

Both? lol AI Roboform and something else I cant remember right now. Might have been Internet Download Manager.

I force my addons to be compatible by using https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/nightly-tester-tools/ or, in the case of Thunderbird (Shredder 9.0a1) I just manually marked the few addons I use as being compatible and then testing them to make sure functionality is there.

Are you sure the addons don't work with a newer build, or are they just not marked compatible with the new build yet? A lot of devs get behind on updating version compatibility b/c of extensive testing to make sure there is not a discrepancy somewhere in the code....

Eh, I don't seem to be very adept at it. :) I'll have mine right away, anyhow, as you say.

Did you read my post about using the arrow keys on your keyboard? You don't have to press the keys repeatedly - press and hold until you get close to the intersections where you need to tun, then turn, again, press and hold works....

Like I said, it's just like playing racing sims with your KB :D

This reminds me that I should get up with some of you guys on how to get my computer running as smoothly as possible. :)

I'm going off them being marked not compatible when the FF update shows up...

It was AI Roboform and Google Toolbar. I'm using Google Bookmarks alot now and its not officially compatible with the newer versions of Firefox. The latest version of AI Roboform is....I just havent gotten around to updating it.

I read how to get the Google Toolbar working again in the newer versions of Firefox. Adding bookmarks with the Google Toolbar was so easy, I dont wanna have to use something else.

I'm actually just being lazy...lol

I see something called Add On Compatibility Reporter too. You can use it to force add ons to test them out. Thanks for this post.

For some reason it takes about 30 seconds for the devices to show up on the map now. Maybe they are getting hit by more people playing the game now.

No worries though now that I had that tip on using arrow keys. Thanks for saving my hand from carpal tunnel by clicking.

It did that for me all the way through, from the very first time I played on Friday night to just now. It also did it on several computers and once on my Xoom.
