DROID DNA Disappears From Verizon Site,*

As of this morning it is back on their site. I have one coming, that should be here tomorrow or tuesday. I don't know if i should keep it or not.

I don't think the One interests me all that much. I think it is worry about lack of future support...and slight buyers remorse. I will probably end up keeping it. In fact, it's not scheduled to be delivered until Tuesday, but it's already at my Fed Ex hub. If it's not out for delivery tomorrow morning, I may call and see if I can go pick it up since it's opening day which in my world is a holiday and i have the day off! LOL

chatted with a rep last night, they gave me the link for the dna. They said it is a glitch in the system and they are trying to figure out why it is not showing with the other smart phones. they said they have no intention of releasing the one as it is an ATT phone.

The one is almost certainly coming to Verizon. They have you to tell you its not so they can continue selling their stock of DNAs.

The HTC One is not coming to Verizon that has been confirmed, but only by name. Verizon and HTC are gonna release a phone with the Droid branding that probably has the same hardware and specs. I'm thinking sense 5, boom sound ff speakers, same screen but 5 inches or bigger, and a different design from the HTC One. Basically a better phone than the One.

I would not replace my DNA with a One. I don't understand how the mega-pixals are better. The pictures may look good on your phone but they say that that they do not do well when they are enlarged. I don't think that is an upgrade in the camera. I wish it had more space or an sd card slot but you can store everything in the cloud now anyway.

I did have to get a replacement for mine though because it had an issue. When I made calls the one on the other end sometimes could not hear me but my replacement is great.

I like the hardware/specs of the One a bit more.

BUTTTTT, The DNA is SOO much sexier :)

Hopefully we will see an OTA that brings Sense 5 soon

While I like the faster processor in the one, thats about it really. I like the looks, but the DNA looks better overall to me still. I wouldnt trade my DNA for any phone unless its another DNA but with faster processor etc... I dont want a ONE style phone.

I heard the speakers on the One are awesome, if anything carried over, I would want it to be that.

I have really liked my DNA from day one. The HTC One sounds good but I doubt I would do a trade in even if they offered to do it for free right now. A DNA plus sounds interesting but by time I can actually upgrade they would probably be on a 3ed gen if they make one. ;)

Phones are in the pipeline for something like 18 months before they're released, so they've already got plans to make a better phone ~a year before the previous one is on sale.

It has to be that way
