Again, for me the lack of an SD slot did me in against it. That's like having a 1080p HD TV........with no HDMI or component slots.

...just that thick port for a VCR.

I wouldn't trust the demo units either. They load those demo videos and have a million different things running on them... when i went in a few weeks ago to pre order the note, both the gs3 and razr hd demo units i played with while i was waiting were laggy as hell

This! Those demo phones do a piss poor job of showing phones off. Too much going on, 1,000 different programs open etc....

I've had this phone for 11 days now and it has been pure butter smoothness ;-)

No stuttering, no lag, awesome battery life. Heck, I'm thinking of getting a DNA tatoo

I remember the Dink1 getting slammed some. And after 2.5+ years the only issue I had was with memory and a cache cleaner fixed that in a few seconds 2 years ago.

If I don't like the DNA I'll return and trade for something else with Jelly Bean.
