Interesting. I just saw an ad for the Dinc on TV....

I would think that they would be pushing the thunderbolt......

Assuming they are going to going to EOL the incredible soon (pretty good assumption, they are getting several new phones in the next few months) they'll want to eliminate their stocks of the Incredible why they're still worth something.

If memory serves, they did a similar campaign for the Droid classic last summer, just before/after the Droid X was released.

I also heard a radio commercial for the Inc on my way into work this afternoon. It's now $99 with a $50 MIR with a 2 year contract. Funny, I got mine for free back in October at BBY :) Like Euph said, this is most likely a push of their inventory as newer devices are coming out.

That is a good point, I just figured they would try and push the more expensive phone, but if you can eke out a few more 2 year contracts on the Dincs you have in inventory, I guess you do it.

Oh heck yeah... first rule of retail: you sell what you have in stock.

Yuuup haha I just heard that on the radio yesterday as well

I just don't understand why vzw raised the price from $99 after rebate to $149 after rebate if they are going to eol it soon.

$$$$$$$

Remember, not everyone comes to forums and knows about EOL'ing a device.
