That is correct, the ratings weren't that good, but the fanfare kept it alive and helped it grow into the worldwide phenomenon that it is

My Dad was the head of the camera department for Desilu throughout those years. I spent my summers as a "studio brat" running around and playing on the sets of Star Trek, Mission Impossible, Hogan's Heroes, etc.

I was a stupid kid then, I had every script from the series as well as a box of discarded ears that Leonard Nimoy wore and I used the scripts as colored paper for projects and shot the rubber ears around the neighborhood like rubber bands.

When I signed up in February, I had no idea what all this would turn into. All I wanted was the Nexus One for Verizon. A couple of weeks previous, I was hoping that Steve Jobs would announce the iPhone for Verizon when he debuted the iPad. Huh.

I was in the same boat, I wanted to desperately have the N1 when it was announced that VZw might carry it. And then that led to me finding this site and all the glorious info on the Inc. And of course our official Inc. thread which was legend- wait for it- ary. Now I'm super happy with my Inc. and I have made a bunch of great friends :)

Same with me! I came because I had read about the upcoming Nexus one, then saw the Incredible thread and the rest is history :)

Yall are Star Trek fans i guess?

You will probably hate me, but the only one of them i ever liked was called Star Track Voyager. Couldnt get into any of the others really.

I guess any real star trek lovers wouldn't even like that one :(

Star Trek: Voyager - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hey, to each his own. Whatever keeps the franchise alive is fine with me. Even with Voyager not being my favorite, it did have some well written episodes. Toward the end of both TNG and Voyager, some good Science fiction writers jumped aboard and submitted some great scripts!

There was something about her which gave me warm fuzzy feelings back then.

Something about a smoking hot robot chick with a body like that. I think i wanted to program her and make her do all sorts of fun things.

These days, id just program her to mow the lawn, paint the house, go shopping, rebuild my engine, etc lol.

God how i have aged :(

I agree. While nothing tops TOS, all the others had qualities that made them worth watching. Besides Musky, without TNG, you wouldn't have your avy:p.

To this day i would still crack open the dvd box set and watch 4 or 5 of them in a row!! I loved Voyager. It used to be my Wed night hobby with my wife before we were married lol (sure she was thrilled about that)

I loved the borg scenes

But my all time favorite was the one where they were stuck in the outer atmosphere of a planet, and every minute on the ship was like 10 years on the planet. Until a few hours have passed, and the planet went from being all cavemen, to having the technology to teleport and blast energy guns a the ship

very cool, never forgot that one

I was on the set of Voyager several times and Jeri Ryan is a lot shorter then they made her look when they filmed her. She needed to look "Imposing" so they always shot her on an upward angle to make her look taller then she was. The large breasts were hers though :D

Q for me, I loved the notion of a race of all powerful beings and one being do bored he spent his time harrassing Picard. Very much like myxlpitlk in Superman
