i know i cant speak for anyone else but me but i have my inc since day 3 of its release and all i can say is it was the BIGGEST mistake i could have made getting a phone... i d k if phones dont like me or if i just always mess things up but my INC has and still is SO much more of a hassle then i EVER thought it would be
 
my first INC the external speaker stoped working after 10 days and almost cost me my job ... with my second INC LONG story short i as once rooted and then got the upgrade nag and then un rooted and the upgrade still didnt work and tried everything Verizon and HTC knows with the 4 hard resets and no progress my phone is almost nothing more then a paper weight and i have the people at HTC confused as hell as to what is going on with my phone ... and not only that but now my charging port may be dieing... phones hate me

and i wanna swap it for the but i have the AMOLED screen on my INC and i don't wanna down grade to the shittier pressure screen that are on the INC now ... but i may have to if HTC or VZW cant figgure anything out on there end first
 
haha thanks bro i think i am gonna need... and i know if i have to swap it out i fell so bad for the person that is gonna have to put up with me over the phone or at the store because i will not be one happy person if that goes down
 
hello all: im as newbie as it gets with this rooting,but very good at following instructions and very computer savy.I have a droid incredible with software 2.2,which Im trying to root.using unrevoked 3.21 I have followed all instructions to the tee,all goes well till the end,it says waiting for root,and stays that way for as long as you leave it. Ive tried 4 different computers all running win 7,one 64 bit,the other 3 are 32 bit,all with same result,(waiting for root) I first loaded the modified usb driver from unrevoked, it shows android bootloader interface good to go under android phone in device manager.I start the reflash program, made sure usb debugging was on made sure phone was connecting in charge mode,made sure unknown sources could be installed. I even tried installing htc sync,then uninstalling,because another site said drivers from htc sync were needed. nothing has got me by waiting for root. I have seen this same problem over and over on many different sites,but as of yet to see one fix, the procedure for unrevoked 3.21 seems very simple and straight forward, but every answer Ive seen to this problem,points back to original instructions,which Ive done over and over. any new ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanx in advance.

We come to the lounge to relax and most of us won't answer technical questions in here. haha here in the good old south on the east coast it is a balmy 70 and cloudy skies and i think its it gonna rain its ass off at some point today
