Ok, so my son slammed my Incredible in the car door (I cried actual tears! lol), now the screen is cracked and doesn't work. The navigation keys will light up, but nothing on the screen. I didn't have insurance, like a dummy, and I want to try to fix it and not have to downgrade to some piece of crap, since I loooooove my Inc. What I need to know is, I know I need a screen, but I assume I need a touch screen digitilizer (?). Anyone know the parts I would need, and if my mother, who is an electrician, could fix it...she thinks it is totally do-able! Thanks =)

If it's just the screen, it's not that big a deal. They are readily available and easy to replace. Here is just an example:

hey guys and girls hope you have a great Christmas, i did got some nice things and im also getting a new guitar soon... since it was sold before Christmas ill be getting mine later this week... also im kinda snowed in in Greensboro, NC not having 4 wheel drive truck anymore and havin a mustang gt is not great for snow driving unless u like spinnin alot(that was fun last night)
 
Just to clarify...my screen has hairline cracks on the inside screen and doesn't work, the outer main screen is fine as far as I can tell, that part on e-bay will work? Cuz it just looks like a very thin piece of glass. Is the screen inside a different part? I'm planning on ordering it tomorrow and want to make sure it's what I want. Any help would be appreciated...sorry for the ignorance lol
