I'm just sitting here patiently awaiting the outcome. blkbelt is my test guinea lol.
Seriously... I am curious.. as all stock owners are. Keep reporting the progression.
 
man my test is done i had few speed bumps along the way but i am back up and stable with everything going well including swype on my phone and i am loving the speed and batt life that i am getting already :D
ah my first rom and already a huge success
if you got any questions man i will help you through what i did to get it where it is
 
hey guys anyone here looking for an update on me doing the root and flash of my phone i have gotten it to work but i am fed up and done with OMGB6 and so is the developer so it is time to jump ship i am flashing the CM7 build #38 which is the new GB OS Rom out there and i will report back on how that Rom is when i finish flashing it and setting it up tonight

I'd say 10 min for the backup is about right, not too long unless you need the phone:p. Things have been a little hectic for me so I need the phone to be available. Hopefully, by the end of the week, I'll be able to feed my flash addiction, I'm Jonesing hard :D

humm man i would say bite the bullet ... after all the trouble i had with my first inc i pledged not to root again and now that i did man i am falling in love with my phone all over again everyday it is just awesome what you can do with under-clocking overclocking, getting all the blot wear off your phone and then the whole rom and kernel side of the rooting business is just awesome and it will become addicting just to let you know haha i just started flashing roms like 5 days ago and i am already addicted to it and it is awesome
 
the root went painless and perfect

i deff think with cm7 the rom i am on is more useful because you can over clock get faster speed even with the stock kernel

and omg the bat life man i mean i have the mid grade extended batt and i can go 24 hours on less then 40% battery power and i am heavy texter and Facebook user
but most of all i am loving the customization i am getting i form the no bloatware to custom circle batt monitor in the stats bar

OH last but not least IF FUN AS HELL to do :D and it is ALWAYS undo able you can go back to stock at anytime

Hey guys I'm having a problem my incredible has really slow speeds from speed test.net I'm getting less than.5 mbps down and like .8 up how can I fix?

it all depends on your location ... try calling *228 hit option 2 to update your roaming compatibilities and connect you to the closest cell tower to you
