Hey guys did anyone read the news arrival on here saying assuring no longer has the ding and if you have to get a replacement then you will more then Lilky get the Droid x
 
Not to much... did u see my last post?

And I have hit the wall with my xoom root... dam this sucks man... its the one thing I don't like rooting GRRR
 
Yeah I called assuron the other day and I was told they had veg few left in stock... not needing a new one now (knock on wood) I don't know what to do
 
well that's the way with me. I am on #4 though so I've no confidence that I'll make it through my contract with the refurb I have now. Would be happy if I did.. but it's not likely to happen.
 
Yeah man I am on number 3 and I just hit the year mark on my contract last week so I don't think I am gonna make it and I know it is gonna suck to have to get a different phone exp. If I have to get one with a locked down bootloader I will be in android hell and withdraw
 
Dieing.. not dead. You have to admit it has been a great phone. I just hope mine will last until there is an replacement that seems attractive to me. Right now, I'm just not all caught up by anything out there. I will admit however, still loving my dinc as I do, I have not looked very seriously.

Aggreed and aggreed man... with my upgrade so far away I haven't looked and some of that I have lloked have seam to really flop like the TB and the atrix. 4g
 
Good morning all!

I've got about a year left on my contract. I plan on riding this phone at least that long then take a look at what's available. Of course, that could change if something comes out before then that grabs my attention, but so far, nothing has.
 
I was thinking about getting the incredible 2, and passing this one down to my son. However, no LTE was the deal breaker. It's not here yet, but it's coming. Guess I'll just have to wait.

The Inc 2 isint. An Ltd phone anyway unless you put that radio on the phone lol... and there is no telling what in the world will in store for us in a year when all of our contracts end... its gonna be excusing when that time comes I think

I meant the phone not having LTE is the deal breaker. My area is supposed to get LTE this year.
 
Evening all.. or morning I guess. Late getting in here tonight.. was wife's b-day and that turned into dinner out etc.

I'm so happy with the Dinc I have now.. I just can't get all excited about anything. I will admit that I was pretty dang frustrated a few months back when I my original lost it's speaker and I traded it in for two more units that were just a pos. The one I have now seems rock solid.. like my first. I'm sure something will be on my wish list before my contract is up.. it always seems to work that way.

With the exception of the speaker problem I currently have, I'm very happy with my Incredible. I've not seen anything on the market yet that even tempts me to switch. I'm sure by the time my contract is up, there will be something out there.

Ah the speaker problem. It seems to be the weakest link in the Dinc. I suppose you've tried the magnet cleaning trick.. did nothing for me. My current Dinc's on/awake button is wearing out. It takes a very hard press to activate and seems to be getting worse as time passes. The speaker is still solid though. It's a shame the build wasn't just a bit better on the Dinc.
