Technically I don't.....however I did hijack my brother's so I might have to watch some and see.

Edit: Morning to everyone!
I loved the show and when they cancelled it, joined in the campaign to bring it back. The way they canceled the series on such a cliff-hanger pissed a lot of people off.

Didn't exactly like the way they wrapped everything up in the mini-series, but was grateful that they were able to revive the show long enough to give it some kind of ending.

Guilty admission but I have never seen the mini series that wrapped it up. I will have to get busy and get my wife addicted to the show too so we can catch up and wrap it all up ... what... almost ten years later ish, not quite I guess.

Hey Nightie! It's all good. Battery life has improved some and no more pesky constant sync thanks to Skorp. I love SkyRaider so far, probably cause its not much different than what I'm used to. Next up will be playing to see if I can get more battery life. Lol.
How's life treating you?

Hell yea, sounds awesome:)

I'm surviving I guess. Classes are about to start back up and I'm trying to take a trip before that happens.... Life goes on... I guess.....

:)

Morning all!
Morning! How's rooted life treating you?

I'm dying to get sense 3.0 on my phone

So far, I haven't found a Sense 3.0 ROM that will send or receive MMS for me. Currently downloading Virtuous Unity to give it a go.

The fact that it is similar in look and feel to the Stock ROM is one reason I recommend it for a first custom ROM. You might want to look into SetCPU (it's a paid app on the Market). It will allow you to set your processor speed based on certain conditions. For example, I have my processor speeds set to min 245MHz and max 768Mhz normally. By slowing the speed, the processor doesn't use as much battery, and for my everyday use, I don't notice any performance hit compared to 1Ghz. Another battery saver is that I set my speeds to min 245, max 384 when the screen is off to further reduce the processor's power draw. There are also custom kernels that will allow you to lower the frequency to a minimum of 128 MHz and increase the maximum to 1.15 GHz, though different phones react differently to clock speeds above 1 GHz and in my opinion, the (real world) performance gains realized by the higher clock speeds do not offset the additional drain on the battery and stress on the processor.

I have to dissagree with you sir I don't know if it that I have the inc 2 but my cpu speed is doubled to 2.03 MHz and I do not see a lost in battery life or drain

I saw SetCPU and considered it but figured I would get past the first couple days before doing anything. I find that I want to rush right in though. Lol. And now that I have a guide to use I might just get it and play.

Good to know on the 3.0 ROM's. I know I was told Kingdom is good but if it doesn't do MMS its a dealbreaker.

I don't know what I would do without you all in here. I love the info I get and the games we all play. :D

Different phone - different processor - different results. Do you see any real world (not benchmark biased) gains by doubling the speed of your CPU? As someone who has worked in the electronics industry over 30 years, I'd say running the processor at 145% of manufacutrer's maximum rating (1.4 GHz) is stressing it pretty heavily and will likely lead to early failure.

I really liked the version of Kingdom I tried and it may just be something particular to my set up since I have not seen excessive complaints about the MMS isuse on Sense 3.0 ROMs. SMS is and has been fine.

Nope getting new phone so my screen won't be cracked no more and I ain't paying for it yay
Isn't this phone only a couple of months old (if that)?
