Whoa! That was weird! I was getting lots of force closes, so I turned the phone off and it started randomly rebooting over and over and over until eventually it got stuck on the Droid eye. Now I've lost my apps on my SD card and almost everything is force closing.

Hold me! I'm scared to turn it off, but I don't know what else to do to get it back to normal.

I almost thought I was getting the GB update as I had read that it will restart three times. After the tenth time, I realized it's not GB. *Sigh*
 
I'm doing great blkbelt. Good to see yas. Loving my new kick butt mower. This thing is a mow machine supreme. I'm felling much better about the upgrade now.
I've had some rain and a bit cooler weather last week so my garden may survive after all. My habaneros are getting ripe. I've only picked a couple.. wow h o t.
 
I'm enjoying a quiet evening now that the kids are in bed.

My phone is still going haywire so I went to VZW today and they told me that my issues are because I have too many texts and I got lectured because I have lots of (gasp) third-party apps and I should only get them from the Market and that is probably contributing to it as well. Um, Amazon is quite legit and I only get ones that also have good reviews from the Market as well. If Amazon offers the exact same app as the Market does (and it's free for the day), why should it make a difference of where I download it from? Or should I only be downloading apps from the Market?

I told the gal that the person in tech support that I spoke with on the phone said to go to the store and have them put it in safe mode to figure out what was going on with it and to find out if a specific app may be causing the problem. She refused and acted like the tech person had no idea what she was talking about. She said the only thing to do was to either 1) delete all my apps from Amazon or 2) do a factory reset. I figured I'll delete the rest of my texts and just call tech support again. Ugh! I would like to actually use my phone.
 
Whatever happened to the sense of humor on these boards? I'm not talking about my peeps in this thread but it seems that eveywhere a good humored post is made it's edited by a mod. I remember this place (AF) being a lot more loose and fun. Just my opinion but this place is waay to over-moderated. Kinda sucks.

Oh lucky you my plants are alive and maybe has 1or2 peppers... Not where I want it to be to be able to make my own hot sauce

Well... I'm getting peppers but my tomatoes have all but shut down. All I'm getting are golf ball size and the skins are way tough. Just been way too hot. I've kept them alive so I'm hoping that they will produce again.. in time to go with my peppers. It was 108 here today.. so it's not over yet.

I agree. This is in no way an excuse but... my take on the situation is there are a lot of new people that are trying hard (perhaps too hard) to do the jobs they were selected to do. I'm betting that things will calm down given a bit of time. There are far too many great users here for it all to go South now.

It's still so much better than the Dare forums. If you ever asked a question that had ever been answered before in the history of the forum, you got reprimanded and told to search for your answer in the forums. The problem was that their search box was so limited that it was impossible to find threads about your issue until you had worded it the exact same way. It was like they weren't even there to help, but just to make sure the rules were being followed.

I'm a flash-aholic. Although I have discovered that if I download to my computer then connect via usb and put the file on my sd card that it won't let me load. Slightly frustrating but this ROM flashing is too fun to let it stop me. :D

It was the Trucker getting his penis hacked off thread and all I said was, "I was just thinking you don't see many eunuchs anymore". Oh well, at least I try to keep this place on it's toes.. ;)
