Yeah, I just read through the forums and got that. I was actually having the same reboot issue as everybody else until I manually updated the market yesterday. Working fine since, so I will download the full ROM for future use, but I won't worry about flashing it now.

I'm a cynic when it comes to VZW and updates - not that it really matters to me I won't get, nor do I want the official update anyway;)

My only problem with the update is that he used the updated Gmail which breaks the ability of LPP and UnreadSMS to tell me that I have unread messages.

I may be able to help with the older version of G-Mial - how comfortable are you with adb commends?

Things are getting real busy at work. CEO just asked my team for an additional 18 hour/week OT. May not be around much for the next few weeks.

I don't have any clue what it is BUT as you've seen if you send me something to work with I'll either follow directions, call on someone who is comfy with it, or google it and find the directions. :)

DAMN! 18 hours!!???!!!! I guess it's good for you for $$ but I hope you make sure to send pics of yourself to your family
 
I had jury duty today and was so happy to have my Incredible to play with while I was waiting! I put it on airplane mode to save my battery since I had no idea how long I'd be there. It's amazing how little battery is used up in airplane mode even while using apps or maybe I should say it's amazing how much battery is used by the network.

Yeah networks do kill the batt a lot expicaly if it's searching for signal
 
I have a good signal and my battery still sucks all the time. I'll unplug it at 100% and it'll go down to less than 95% within 5 minutes and in an hour, it'll be down to 80-85%....and that's with doing nothing on the phone except checking Facebook for less than 5 minutes. I love my phone, but the battery is getting worse and worse. I wonder if I have some settings that need to be tweaked. I refuse to use a task-killer and I've trained myself to immediately hit the back button when I'm done with an app instead of leaving it open.

That reminds me.... is there a place which shows what apps are open? Pandora is the only one that shows up on the top taskbar. I just want to be sure I really am closing down battery sucking apps.

Haven't been on XDA since all my favorite devs left. Is this a rooted version of the OTA?
