Alright... one more attempt at flashing an updated ROM tonight, and then I'm going to restore my last nandroid. If I see one more boot screen blink at me, I'm going to whine like a nasally congested pig being chased by a much larger nasally congested pig.

Yay, got 'er working. This ones for you NA, if only you could see it through that veil of ignoring me.

The only thing I'm missing right now is (as lame as it is) the Skins that were available on the 2.1/3.0 version. There was actually some nice variation to the available options, unlike the ones I can download now which are all just the same theme with different horrid bright colors. :S

I'm not convinced yet, I may go back to Nils 2.1/3.0 mix, due to the Sense stuff, not because of the ROM itself.

Some of my widgets appear much smaller than they used to be (mainly the settings dashboard widgets, this could be causing me to misjudge other widgets)... the 3D carousel isn't my favorite thing on the planet either... If I gesture just a touch too fast it starts flying around like a merry go round. :)
 
Out of curiosity, what's excessive heat down under?

I live in Nerdvada, so the phrase 'excessive heat' translates into 'you best stand in the shade to slow down your shoes melting'. I mean it's not the Atacama here, but most people enjoy a slight breeze to cool them off during the warm months; most people not from the Vegas area that is. Here we know a slight breeze is akin to putting your face in front of the cars heater vent.
 
You know what I love about the Incredible?

Reading spec sheets on soon to be released phones that still can't hold a candle to the Incredible.
 
To answer all the heat questions.... Excessive it a nice way of saying too damn. We've had like 45 days over 100 degrees and most the days a 30 plus percent humidity. I think 113 was our hottest day. It only got to 111 today. I'm hot.
 
So pretty much on par with our summers. :) I find the best thing to do is walk around in a speedo at the local pool... for some reason I seem to always get lucky and the place empties out right around the same time I show up in el-spandexo. Not sure why, but hey I won't complain.
