I've been avoiding the chicken pox my entire adult life, but I fear my kids will bring it home from school one day and get completely annihilated! :eek::eek::eek::eek:

Sad fact is that this method works in the uncapped world of MLB and NBA but the Knicks still stink... ;) Don't even get me started on the Rangers..... :p
 
Yeah, but they are evil in their pursuit of F/A players and thinking money will solve all their woes. I like the players that they develope and respect that attitude towards the game, not throwing money at players that smaller market teams can't afford to match. It is what turned the pirates into the team they are now, the world's first Major league farm team.

P.S. Mariano is a legend, when in God's name will he retire!!!!!

Wait until you get it later in life in the form of Shingles! Same virus, but I'll take chicken pox any day over that crap! :mad:
 
C'mon... enjoy watching him. When you seeing him, you're watching history in the making. Kinda like being around when Dizzie Dean or Cy Young was pitching. Could you imagine?
 
I actually feel that way when I watch Strasburg pitch, kid is going to be one of the greats! When I watch Mariano pitch the only historical signifigance I remember is him blowing the save against the D-Backs in the world series... ;)

Could be, and should be interesting to watch, but baseball history is fill of "can't miss" prospects who didn't fulfill their potential. Anyone remember Mark "The Bird" Fidrych? 1976 - 19-9 record, 24 complete games(!), 2.34 ERA for the Tigers, AL rookie of the year, starting All-Star game pitcher. 1977 - tore knee cartilage and rotator cuff, was never the same, out of baseball after 1980 with a 29-19 career record. So let's hope this kid, who is also a flamethrower, avoids that kind of injury.
 
I turned in my Dinc. 59 days out. They took it. I'll be waiting for the X 2.5 weeks. Don't hate me INC brothers.

What made you decide to return it and who did you return it to? I am assuming they took it back because it is sold out everywhere and they need to be able to replace ones that are crapping out on people. I like the phone but I would say the name "Incredible" is mis-leading.

There are always software issues with newer technology but some things with this are ridiculous. I am not going to return it because I am really not all that impressed with the X and considering I have another device I can use for business and apps (my Inc was banned from work as an unsecure device so they cut me off) so now it's a phone and GPS (its two best features anyways). Good luck with the X.

Whaaaat? What kind of company do you work for? A large corporation?

Unsecure because you were using WiFi? If so, couldn't you use your 3g?
 
Don't get me wrong. I love the Dinc. I'm struggling with this wondows mobile phone again, until the x comes out. It's ridiculous.

I sent it back for three reasons:

1) Older eyes need the larger screen.
2) Can't see nutin' in the sunlight with the Dinc
3) Call quality is not up to VZ standards.

The tech support guy on the phone agreed with me and took it back.

So, I wait.
 
hey guys i got dust under my screen in two spots. two little white specs will they let me return my phone for this? im taking it to a verzion corp store tonight and since the inc is sold out for a long time. you think it will take forever for me to get one? or will they let me get the X?
 
Those who jump ship for the X will most likely regret it because in a couple months there will be an even better Android phone out...It's as bad as it used to be with buying a computer. As soon as you get it home and set it up, it's obsolete...lol The Android choices are nice tho.
