i was sending an email with my ipod and didnt realize how much i rely on swype...im never going to a phone that doesn't support it. not to mention i can actually hold my inc...
 
Totally agree! I have an iPod touch and tapping out emails has become unbearable. Swype all the way!

iPhone 4...where is the iPhone 4. I need an iPhone 4. What is the HTC Droid Incredible...is it an iPhone?
My sister says that Walgreens has them.
I want the one with the bigger gb's.
 
No offense to the OP, but these rumors have been around since the iPhone was first released in 2007. IMO, the iPhone will not becoming to Verizon Wireless until LTE is released.

ATT's contract is renewed until 2012, so unless they agreed to break their exclusivity agreement, I don't see this happening..

Agreed.

But without the full disclosure of the contract, there still might some termination clause if AT&T cannot provide a reliable network for the iPhone.
 
I do like Swype, but an iPhone would give me the ability to carry just one device around. But then it's a locked down platform. I couldn't go back.

Respectfully, that 2012 date is based on rumor and conjecture.

Neither AT&T or Apple have confirmed that their contract is until 2012 and they are the ONLY ones who know for certain when their exclusivity contract ends.
 
Wait the Iphone is coming to Verizon? Hot damn better get in line now ;)

The At&t has exclusivity rights to the iphone for the next 2 years, if it does come it won't be the "iphone" and it'll be totally different...
 
So, the question is, "why have I moved this thread to the Lounge." Okay. I'll tell you. Firstly, the only thing it has to do with the Inc is that that phone is mentioned once.

Secondly and most importantly, I am extremely prejudiced against anything having to do with Steven Jobs. So, nothing personal, I can move the thread. Granted, I do have some bias working here. Nothing personal. ;)

They could release a device for Verizon that is similar to the iPhone, but change it a bit, and call it the...let's say.... the EyePhone. :D
Either way, I'm sticking with Android.:cool:

Oh come on - that doesn't matter even if it is true. There'll be a surprise headphone jack shortage, production will back up, and VW won't be able to fulfill the orders you make today until 2013.

The Incredible's "Date you ordered and received the phone vs. 'will ship by' date" thread now has 120 pages...
