Hey NA, I usually access this forum from my phone using Tapatalk and it's hard to make out your avatar. Now that I'm on my laptop and can see it, it's really creepy! I have always hated clowns! To be honest, they scare the crap out of me! :afraid:

In the spirit of Halloween

And yes, that has to be the scariest clown ever. I hated IT when I was little

I still don't recognize NightAngel without a Boba Fett avatar.

Olbriar, are you stoked about the Royals? I'm glad to see a smaller market, smaller budget team do well. The Reds totally fell apart the second half of the season, so I'm happy to have a team I can root for in the Series.

I am so stoked that there aren't words to describe. I've followed that team since the last WS appearance... many years ago. My son came by tonight to gloat about the tickets he bought for game 1. Just under six hundred dollars a ticket for the SRO area. Can't blame him though. If I was younger I'd likely be hocking the house to go. :) He's a big Royals fan too... he had no choice.

The Royals fell apart right after the break but managed to squeak in. Now they seem to be on a roll. I'd love to see them win it all but I'm so elated to see them make the post season and then the pennant... whatever happens I'll be a happy man. It's huge for the franchise and KC in general. Though the Royal fans have been loyal though the years.. you need to toss them a bone now and then. This is a huge bone!

Wow, $600 for SRO. That is pricey, but hey, you never know when it'll happen again and I'm sure the memories will be well worth it.

I am 10p percent with you. The Reds collapse was epic. Totally tanked after all star game. Will be interesting to see how crazy it gets around our parts when we host it next year.

I too am rooting for the Royals. Nice to see a team like that. Plus I'm tired of the Cards and Giants.

I hope the Royals prove worthy of rooting for. They are a bunch of young talent that play for and off of each other. They are raw... so raw I don't think they realize they are playing in the frickin World Series. No great stars.. just a team with a lot of heart.
They remind me a lot of my son's team that won the 18 year old world series years ago. They had some ball players but mostly they got on the magic carpet at the end of the season and rode it all the way though. They were just having fun and the next thing they knew.. they were holding the trophy.

Omg, I love to laugh. Not the typical ones but the sudden wasnt expecting kind. Like yours just hit me in the gut. That is hilarious. I apologize if I have offended anyone.

I missed something... What is funny?

I'm pretty sure I'm not offended, but since I don't know what we're talking about I cant be sure ;)

I'll take the Royals in six... you bet. The fewer games the better. I'd love a sweep even.
The drama and the pressure of the team I've rooted for forever playing in the series is just killing me.

Aint that true, your sofa could stuffed with cash.Doesn't hurt to dream does it? I remember my folks almost constantly sayin "wish in one hand & "blank" in the other. See which one fills up first".

Incredible face art! Yeah there many adults that have terrible phobias of clowns. Understandable though. For me it was Sock Monkeys & marionettes.

Olbriar, the post about dirt is what hit my funny bone!!

Hi NightAngel79 scroll back to Olbriar's post about dirt. Not funny now, but the first time I read it just tickled me something fierce!

I cant even talk baseball man my team had the worse record this season and we didn't even make it over .300 but we have a new manager and hopefully a new coach here soon so maybe the 2015 season will be the diamondbacks year *cough cough *knock on wood

but I just jinxed it didn't it :(

Hey blkbelt, good to see you. Man I don't know about the jinx. I've tried every kind of juju on the Royals for three decades and nothing worked. I bitched at the team and management most of this season.. like all the previous years. I have no idea where or how the success came about. You just have to enjoy it when it happens. Good luck in 15 with the Diamondbacks.

haha my friend I am right there with ya we haven't done a thing since our last WS win in 2001 (sigh) but there is always the next year and football and Hockey to hold me over until that point and so far my football team is 3-3 blah and my hockey is 3-1 (YAY) :D

I love pro football and college basketball. They keep me occupied during the winter months. I never was a hockey fan. They just don't show much of it around here.
Oddly enough, it was one of the few sports on tv around here when I was young.

nice man I am more of a hockey fan then baseball... baseball can get SO boring to watch on TV and living in a state that has no professional teams all my sports I get to see is on TV

I agree, baseball is a slow moving game. It's much more fun to play than to watch. Kansas hasn't a professional team in any sport. We have always claimed the Royals but technically they are a Missouri team. Their stadium is clearly not in Kansas. The Chiefs' stadium shares the same parking lot... We root for both, they are close. Lately there has been a growing fan base for OKC's Thunder around here. They are definitely the only BBall team half close. If we have a hockey team close... I'm unaware.

The Royals are easy for me to follow and root for. I'm out of the KC metro blackout umbrella so most all of their games are on TV. I'm guessing 95% of their games were aired. It's the same with the Chiefs. It makes it easy to be a cheap fan lol.

I love going to baseball games. I'm content with a game that ends 1-0 in the tenth inning (was at a game that ended like that)

Love watching a pitchers dual
